How to adjust resistance on your Climber+

Pedal adjustments (built-in)

Your REFORME® Climber+ features 3 adjustable pedal settings that control the steepness and range of motion of your climb. To adjust:

  • Look for the cable attachment points on each pedal — you'll see 3 notch positions.
  • Moving the cable to a higher notch increases the steepness, giving you a more intense workout.
  • Moving the cable to a lower notch reduces the steepness for a lighter, more casual climb.

The steeper the setting, the harder your legs and glutes have to work — it's a great way to progressively increase your workout intensity over time.

Resistance bands (Pro bundle)

If you ordered the Pro bundle, your Studio Bands are specifically designed to add an upper-body resistance element to your climb. These ship separately from your main unit (typically 7–14 days after your machine arrives).

My machine doesn't have a resistance knob

Some models use body-weight resistance rather than a manual resistance knob. This means the harder you press down on the pedals, the more resistance you feel. There is no knob to turn — the resistance comes from your own effort and the pedal adjustment settings described above.

If you feel like you need more of a challenge, try adjusting to the steepest pedal setting and adding the Studio Bands for upper-body engagement.
